The 2 previous encounters were surprising by the good job the "boomers" did to fight both matches, in the 1º they even had a real chance of winning, but they lost them both finally by 6 pts. margin: 75-69 and 81-75. Spain will not have Navarro for this match, and seeing how off form Marc Gasol and Rudy Fernandez are, I cannot consider them getting a higher margin than against China (+16), as Australia is much a better team than the Chinese, especially in defense, with good tall men like Andersen, Maric, Ingles, Newley, etc. So, we strech the HA and total lines, as I see Spain scoring 80-85 pts. and Australia 70-75, so that gives me a +10 HA and a total of 155 pts.
Los 2 precedentes en amistosos fueron sorpresa por el buen trabajo que hicieron los "boomers" para no perder la cara a  los 2 partidos, en el 1º incluso con opciones reales de ganar, aunque finalmente cayeron en ambos por 6 pts de margen: 75-69 y 81-75. España no contará con Navarro para este partido, y visto lo poco rodados que están Marc Gasol y Rudy, no creo que consigan una ventaja mayor que la conseguida ante China (+16), ya que Australia es mucho mejor equipo que el chino, sobre todo en defensa, con buenos hombres altos como Andersen, Maric, Ingles, Newley, etc. Así pues, ampliamos líneas de HA y total de pts, ya que calculo que España meterá 80-85 y Australia unos 70-75, lo que me sale una línea de HA de +10 y un total de pts. de 155.

Nigeria has the golden chance that they were looking for when they made it to the Olympics.They beat Tunisia, and they play immediately against the only team they have real options of beating to get a seat for quarterfinals. They already met in the qualifying tournament for Olympics, Nigeria won 86-80, but Lithuania were not playing for a spot (already qualyfied), so that stat is not relevant. What I can say is that the Nigerian power got 20 offensive rebounds vs Tunisia, and Lithuania is short of centers, after the injury of their main man, Javtokas. If we add that Lithuania are null defensively, as seen vs Argentina (102-79), I find the HA +8.5 a bit long, when I see chances for Nigeria to surprise a senior and disappointing Lithuania.
Nigeria tiene ante sí la oportunidad soñada que buscaban cuando se clasificaron para los JJOO. Ganaron a Tunez, y se enfrentan de inmediato con la única selección a la que tienen opciones reales de vencer para asegurarse una plaza en cuartos de final. Ya jugaron en el preolímpico, ganando Nigeria 86-80, pero Lituania no se jugaba nada, así que no hay que tomárselo en serio. Lo que sí digo es que el poderío físico nigeriano consiguió 20 rebotes ofensivos contra Tunez, mientras que Lituania va coja en pivots, tras la lesión de Javtokas, que es el reboteador jefe del país báltico. Si a eso unimos que Lituania no defiende casi nada, como se vio ante Argentina (102-79), se me antojan muchos puntos un HA +8.5, cuando veo posibilidades que Nigeria pueda sorprender a una veterana y decepcionante Lituania.

I was expecting a total line closer to 160 pts, and fortunately caught the 156.5 line, which started at 154.5 and is now at 157.5 pts. The British are useless in defense, and rely their options all to offense, with Luol Deng, plus Mensah Bonsu & Freeland. They haven't got anything to stop the NBA Brazilian centers trio, together with Huertas and Barbosa from the perimeter. I expect a relaxed match in defense, similar to what happened with the Russians, Brazil scoring 85-90 points, and the British 75-80, so the total points should be between 160 and 170, so the real line should be 165, a huge margin to what we have found.

Los británicos son nulos en defensa, y dejan sus opciones al ataque, con Luol Deng, más Mensah Bonsu y Freeland. No tienen nada para parar el trío de pivots NBA, junto con Huertas y Barbosa en el tiro exterior. Espero un partido relajado en defensas, parecido a lo que ocurrió con los rusos, Brasil metiendo 85-90 pts, y los británicos 75-80, o sea un total de pts. entre 160 y 170, así que la línea real debería ser 165, un margen amplio para lo que hemos encontrado.

Berdych knocked out in 1st round singles, never plays too much on doubles, I am suspecting he will not be in the best mood today. The odds are so exagerated in favour of the Czech couple, I have to give it a try, the only reference is Berdych/Stepanek beat Bracciali/Starace in Davis Cup in a clear 6-3 6-4 6-2, but that was in Czech ground, and there is no way odds can be so apart. Value bet.
Berdych eliminado en 1ª ronda individuales, nunca juega mucho a dobles, sospecho que no estará del mejor humor hoy. Las cuotas son tan exageradas a favor de la pareja checa, tengo que probarlo, la única referencia es que Berdych/Stepanek vencieron Bracciali/Starace en Copa Davis con un claro 6-3 6-4 6-2, pero eso fue en terreno checo, y de ninguna manera pueden estas cuotas estar tan desniveladas.
